我駕駛著「借」來的吉普車，朝師父埋葬之地疾馳而去。

離開城市後，四周境況便像一片半壞的錄影帶，不停重覆地播映那片一望無際的沙漠。不過假若閉眼片刻，車上空調倒能令人暫時忘卻自己正置身黃沙中。

車開得極快，往後看去，車尾正拖起一條滾滾沙龍。

「大哥哥，還有多久才到啊？」坐在後座中央的煙兒問道。我向前探頭看了看，道：「不遠，前面那個山谷就是了。」

「大哥哥也真厲害，這兒四周甚麼都沒有，只黃沙一片，你卻能認得路。」

「我好歹在這身居住了四年呢。」我笑了笑，道：「連路也認不到的話，我早橫屍沙漠了。」煙兒聽後吐了吐舌頭，便不再說話。

車廂內，復又平靜。
